Following the recent media attention given to telemarketing practices, consumer surveys and gaining explicit opt-ins – we’d like to emphasise to our clients the importance of data compliance. Here are 6 reasons why you can trust working with TDP Direct Marketing.
1. Avoid TPS Registered Numbers
We provide our clients with opted-in, appropriately cleansed TPS data for consumers who have explicitly consented to receive marketing messages from our sponsors and third parties.
2. Our Double Opt-In Data Policy
Our double opt-in policy keeps the customer informed of which brand we are contacting on behalf of. Should a consumer, at any time throughout the survey, wish to opt-out, their data will be suppressed, added to our DNC (do not call) list and not passed on to third parties.
3. Lawfully Obtained Records
We gain explicit consent from the data subject themselves and are 100% transparent about how the end-user will be contacted, by whom and for what purpose.
4. Vulnerable Persons Policies
We have our Vulnerable Persons Policy in place to safeguard those who might be vulnerable from unwarranted pressure. This includes, not collecting any information from those under 18, providing an additional opt-out opportunity for those over 80 years old and clearly explaining the follow up from completing the call.
5. Industry & Accreditations
We have commissioned an independent data protection & compliance consultancy, who helps us audit our performance and practices in this highly legislated field. We comply with the CAP (“Code of Advertising Practice”), the Data Protection Act, The ICO (Information Commissioners Office), The Ministry of Justice and recognised industry legislation.
6. Data Auditing
We can perform a full audit on your existing database and cleanse your records in line with the eight Data Protection Act principles to ensure you have the correct permissions to market.
We are absolutely committed to providing data to our clients in a way that respects the rights of individuals and meets the expectations the regulators and the public have of B2C marketing practices.
Should you have any questions about the way in which our data is collected, or if you’d like any guidance or training on compliance or direct marketing practices, please contact our data auditing team on: 0844 561 1133 or email us: enquiries@tdpmarketing.co.uk
